OWP app - with PR or online?

I am an American living with my Canadian partner in Canada for about 2 years. We are putting our PR application together. We had a consultation with a lawyer who told us to apply for the OWP with the PR application (on paper). I also see lots of references around that the OWP should be included in the envelope with the PR application. However, I am trying to find a way to pay for the OWP online so I can include the fee receipt. The immigration website is very firm that the OWP must be applied for online only.

So do I apply for the OWP first online, and then print out what I submitted to include in the PR application?

There doesn't seem to be any other way to pay for it unless I apply online.

You just need to fill the forms indicated here

Once you have it, you need to do the payment here. https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/order.do?category=17

Just add a number 1 on this options.

Thats how I payed for mine. Then we just printed the receipt and attached it on the papper application
