overstayed in Canada

Hello all.,
One of my friend came in canada 8 yrs before ( He got deportation now)
The company he is working for now ready to give him Job offer letter
and ready to anything so he can get PR with AEO and assist him all the way.

he is havin SIN and driving a car with valid driving licence
if he apply throgh the lawyer with genuine job offer with HRSDC approval
will he get PR????

Not with a deportation order against him.

please ,why he got this deportation order ?

well he applid for asylum or something (not sure)
the case was in immigration court and everything was positive
and he got PR apllication form by mail and few days later he got deportation letter

well he appealed against it ..
