Hi Everyone. I got an update in my account about the Medical on 23rd Dec. But the issue is my Lawyer in Canada is handling my case and she missed the email from IRCC and I got my letter today i.e., 5th January, from her. The letter includes that ‘ You are required to undergo the medical examination within 30 days of the date of this letter’ and I got an appointment for 20th January due to excessive workload on medical centre in Pakistan. The deadline is 21st January if we calculate from 23rd December. Is that okay or I’ve to inform the IRCC.
We are talking dependent overseas. Not principal applicant or dependent inland.
The challenge being, a lot of applications sent to Accra office in the past calendar year seem to be gathering dust in some office while the official response for information on said applications is now 'still in queue'. This seems to have been the official response for a while now. I am yet to get any indication this might be peculiar and subjective.
Ecas didn't recognize the application number we got till just a few days ago. Read my earlier comment again please.
The question is: if Ecas now recognizes the application number and shows application 'in process', why is Accra office, citing the same application number, saying application ' still in queue' to be processed.

which country?
Usually the refugee applicant gets PR first and then dependant file moves to the office outside Canada and gets processed
What is your timeline?

yes you will get PR first then your wife.
You got married after 1 year of applying as a pr. I think you have to come PR first and then sponsor her as your spouse I don’t think she can be added as your dependant in refugee PR
