All overstays are deliberate. Still not a reason for refusal of a PR app.

Would the best possible way to notify them of an overstay is through a detailed handwritten letter?

It is asked in the forms. You don't need a letter.

And again, that is wrong. Overstays are not a reason to refuse PR apps. This is not my assumption.

Claiming to be an immigration consultant means nothing on this forum. Consultants provide more wrong information than right.
