I need help. I applied for a study permit on October 29. I got a submission confirmation 30 October. Now, It has been 7 weeks since I sent the application. IRCC website the processing for my country of residence (UAE) is 5 weeks. I sent a web form but it said it will take 28 business days for a response. My term starts 13th of January. What do I do...
They responded to my web form. Apparently they want a custodian declaration form. I don't know anyone living in Canada so I don't know how to get a custodian.

Oh no, I had to go through the same thing when I first applied, I made one of my friends in canada go to a notary and she sent me the stamped paper because I was under 18 at the time but it got rejected and when I reapplied couple months later I had turned 18 and didn't need it.
You can also let the university be your custodian, check in with the university. But youll have to live in dorms until you're 18. At the time that I was applying I didn't want to live in dorms thats why I let her be my custodian but luckily I turned 18 anyways 3 months ago. I advice to go with the dorms plan.
