Right here it states that the processing time starts when they receive an application in their mailroom, as long as it is a complete application. If incomplete, they might return it and the processing time in that case will start when they receive it the 2nd time.
It is simply the date when your package is delivered to their Mississauga/Sydney office. Some people in this forum say things without any knowledge and with the confidence that leads to be miss information.

in my case everything else is done, till medical. but they transferred the file to nvdo on nov 27th. on my ecas there is no such notification of bgc or processing in nvdo. i will get a notification on my ecas for processing in nvdo again or not? bcz it says they started processing on nov 1st, not mentioned in which office.
