I've got a question about forms IMM5540 and IMM5490 (both outland). The first -sponsor questionnaire- concludes with ‘Provide additional details of your current relationship that you believe would help to prove that your relationship is genuine and continuing’. Same for the second -applicant questionnaire-. I'm guessing this refers to a brief outline of our relationship, proof of communication, photos, proof of joint travel, etc.
Does this mean that we have to submit all our evidence twice in two separate envelopes?

Everything is sent together. What we did for this part was, each of us wrote a one page emotional explanation of our relationship. I found for the most part that the application questions are factual. What did you do? Where did you do it? So we used this to write a brief blurb about emotions. My husband explained how I was there for him when his dad had his stroke, I was there fore him when his best friend was killed in a motorcycle accident, etc.. More emotion driven, just to add that extra little bit. I did the same thing, but from my perspective.
This is not a mandatory part of the application, it is just if each of you want to add a little so,etching extra.
No, you don't double up on the evidence. Separate the app into 3 envelopes: Sponsor (forms and documents), Applicant (forms and documents) and Relationship Proof.
