They requested for:
-updated police certificate
-updated schedule A form
-Financial support proof
- 2023 NOA
-Detailed information about our relationship
On the GCMS notes interview is not mentioned
Were these not included originally? This sounds like non-routine processing and interview will likely be considered.

For the police certificate it was already expired past 6 months, the financial support they needed current ones, I submitted NOA for 2022 as the 2023 was not yet filed. Relationship details we just did brief details not detailed much, file was submitted in September 2023 and they opened it in May 2024 when they asked for those current documents...... And after that nothing else followed as per GCMS notes. At this point we are just waiting we don't know what is going on

You essentially had to have your application reevaluated with the new information. I’m sure they are also evaluating whether they want to do an interview. Your processing time is fairly normal for East Africa.
Have the sponsor try through MP's office or calling IRCC directly.
Has yours talked to the MP's? Did it help

I have used my MP for something with immigration in the past and it helped, yes. Not saying it does in all cases.
