I recently received an email from CIC that said our family class application will processed in Mississauga, is that a good or bad thing? I've previously read that all U.S. based outland application go to Ottawa, so am kinda confused if this is a positive or negative message. Our application is very straightforward, Canadian citizen sponsoring wife with no kids.

There seems to have been a large tranche of files that have been transferred to Mississauga (from both London and Ottawa). They last did this a couple of years ago when the other visa offices presumably got bogged down - possibly no surprise it is peak holiday season too.
Good or bad? Who knows, but at least they are taking action rather than let them sit in a queue.
