I sent an e mail to Ottawa office after medical in September and got usual reply from them that your application is in process. But last week I sent "Case Specific Enquiry" to London office and waiting for reply.
In your case after three month you got atleast reply that you would be interviewed.
I've also completed my QA interview yesterday with my wife. It all went well but unfortunately our medicals got expired on 2nd of this month so we do not have any option. Waiting is not over yet! Need to wait for the medical request from London this time (the first time was sent from Ottawa), redo the medicals and hopefully passport request will follow soon! This is not easy but still thankful that we are expecting something good at the end. Wish all that who have waited enough will also come to final stage with good results.

just hang on and godwilling London will immediately allow the med re-do and you will have your turn to send your passports very soon. we were also with ericnzet the day of the interview and it also turned out well. the interviewer was very kind and did not gave a hard time approving us. we just only ran thru the checklist and compared the documents we brought with the one she has (the first set we sent). just only advised us to send our passports and payment to london if we want to head right away to canada before expiry of our visa or if we want to stay a bit longer in the uae to just redo the meds.
my heartfelt gratitude to the person who posted the e-mail of the minister as it did really helped us to be noticed by the immigration authorities and gave us the opportunity to be among the first to be interviewed and approved.
to everybody whose next to be interviewed we wish the best of luck and as we've got this far godwilling there's no turning back.

Hai Eric and others who just finished their interview...... i've also finished my QA round on the 26th of October, 2011. Everything went on well and i was told to wait for 2-3 weeks to get my second medical request. mine is expiring this month end. I was told that by March my visa will be stamped. I have not heard on the medical till now.. Its just 10 days....
but today i noticed that my address has disappeared... does it mean that they have sent my MR???

don't worry same lik u happen this year with my friend interview and vo told him going to send MR withn a mnth but he recieve MR before that time i think u will also recieve very soon. did u got reply for email u sent

nope Saleem. dint receive any reply from the London office. am bothering them the third time but still no response from them. may be they are working on my file. i should again send them a mail next monday..... not good to pester them on a daily basis.
