That's well written. I had a very similar experience at the Meadowland location when I went in last week of August for my minor's passport. Quite a few people lined up with no appointment. The ones with appointment were let in almost immediately. The only difference is, with my pre booked appointment I was done in 20 minutes.
Hi fellow Ottawans, I noticed two persons from the Month May 2020 received their test invites this month and another one from Sep. The one from sep 2020 his background check was even completed recently. There is some movement but I suspect there is a test invite bottleneck, I also don't undesrstand why a sep 2020 applicant gets a test invites before those who applied earlier in 2020. I guess they randomly pick files from the mail room with no order.

Hi all, the portal says I can take my test from tomorrow but I don't have an email yet - does anyone have any idea about what I should do? I want to take its tomorrow because I have to travel for work at the end of the week. Should I call the helpline or email the Ottawa office - in which case does anyone have the email? Thanks, anxious.
