I have written back to the Ottawa office since the 4 weeks they said I may have to wait to get my oath invitation has now passed. I also sent an email to the Niagra office on the off chance I might hear something. I will keep everyone posted. If there is anything to keep anyone posted on.

Hi Guys, I have received a response back today stating that my file has been transferred to Niagara Office. I will be scheduled for an oath in August. In the email, they provided the time and date. finger crossed

I got my tracker updated yesterday that I scheduled for oath on 1st Aug. But I didn't receive any invitation in my email yet.is this normal and how long normally I should wait to get invitation in my email.

So far I gather that there's oath invites for July 19th, 21st, and now Aug 2nd. At least they're still scheduling oath and not fully asleep. Although I fully believe that it's their active policy to sacrifice 2019-2020 apps in order to get everyone else including afghan/ukraine apps processed in time. Your best bet might just be to make up some urgent processing reason like I did, and whether or not they approve the reasoning, it'll still give the file more attention than now.

Yeah, I think your reasons for needing urgency were convincing enough. I did not provide any reason for urgency. I only said I would probably need to travel in September and asked them to schedule me for the next available oath. Unfortunately I can't use US visa issues as I am a US citizen, and I am a June 2021 applicant, so I don't have as strong of a case for unreasonable delays as you 2020 applicants do.

Can some one update my status on the tracker. My file was transferred finally from Ottawa to Kitchener as I moved to GTA. I gave my citizenship test on May 30,2022 and status got updated to 'completed' on June 02, 2022. Physical presence, language skills and Prohibitions are still 'in progress'

OMG GUYS!!! Don't know if the emails did anything, but Niagara Falls replied today saying I'm in queue to be scheduled in the coming months, and I checked and ACTUALLY GOT SCHEDULED FOR OATH AUG 2nd!!!

Please did you receive your invitation letter or just on tracker

I think others have noted that it can take some time to receive it (up to 1 week before the actual oath?), so this is very normal.

They update tracker about 2-3 weeks before Oath, then email about 1 week (sometimes less) before the actual oath date. If you still haven't received email within 1 week of the date, you can email them.

Lots of updates today. Congrats everyone who got an update, and hope everyone else hears positive news soon!
Ottawa application here. Applied in January 2021. Passed citizenship test April 3, 2022. Received DM on June 7 2022. Just updated today with oath scheduled on August 3rd! Also received the email from Niagara Falls at 8:03pm tonight (same day as oath update) with the details. Virtual citizenship oath at 1:15pm! Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! Hurray!
