It doesn’t say that but in the consent form I filled previously, I was told that it was a special ceremony as media will be there

Thanks so much everyone for the support shown on this app. I completed my citizenship ceremony today in person. The minister of IRCC attended and I had an opportunity to ask him why some people are so delayed. He said he will look into it( hopefully he does).
With this, my journey comes to an end. I am now a Canadian citizen. I wish you all the best of luck. Amen

I am june 2021 applicant! took test and interview from abroad. They are asking to return for the date. I am in Canada now. It was DM after sending them air tickets

Seems like the nightmare of Ottawa applications Oath delay is not over.
Been 12 days since LPP complete, many people with Niagara office as primary VO but living in different cities than Ottawa got oath scheduled right after LPP.

Took 23 days for me from LPP -> oath scheduled.

For me, it took 50 days.

I would be fine with that or even 4 months as long as it is communicated.
What sucks is having no idea, so all your plans for vacation or traveling are kinda in jeopardy because you dont wanna be away and then have them email you your oath is scheduled

Yes, NGF is the secondary office which did test and oath scheduling. LPP from Sydney took 7 months after test.

Thank you! Hopefully they don't cancel the last moment, with ircc it's too early to celebrate anything until that final step.

True! I learned to never celebrate early with IRCC but hey at least there is some light in the tunnel haha
