I don't want to disappoint you but that is the reality, if you check the spreadsheet records for Ottawa and Gatinue office, you can see it for yourself, there is limited movement.

From the recent ATIP documents it showed that applicants are categorized into three, streamlined low risk , routine and non-routine. So If you are from the first category, this could be earlier than the rest.

I would consider myself to be in that category but there is very little, actually nothing, to suggest my application is being streamlined!!!!! Your message came as a very tough reality check. I had analysed the spreadsheets for months and months and was estimating getting the test this month (August). I very much doubt this now. But if it takes until next year then that I think would make me most unlucky. May 2020 applicants and Ottawa applicants appear to be having an absolute nightmare......

The number of applicants in the spreadsheet for Ottawa office is very small and is not full represenation of all the Ottawa applicants, but at least it gives you some indication.

For myself it is even worse , I am stuck in background check, I was expected to get fingerprints request as per my GCMS notes, but my file has been in transit since Feb 2021, probably sitting idle at the IRCC ottawa mail room.

It sad to see that some 2021 are scheduled for oath from other offices and we are stuck here. It is only a matter of time before things move for us, so we have to be patient and focus on our lives. At the begining I used to visit the forum on daily basis but then I realized it is just stressing me out and I stopped checking the tracker, and decided to do only once every month.
Anyway lets hope for the best and plan for the worest.

Thats a great attitude you have there! I really like it - hope for the best, plan for the worst. I hope you come back here before a month passes with some good news to lift us all up. Its nice to know there is someone in the same boat. Although I would rather not be in the boat .......!

Maybe when weather starts to be cold and nothing else todo outdoors we might see progress. I don’t feel we have been treated well. Waiting for almost 2 years is nightmare. Application from late 2020 are already citizens, if was mistake to apply late 2019 , we should have waited for new year as this seems to be KPi game .

The agent didn't close my file until recently. That prevented the printing of my certificate.

I have to say that, when I received the Oath invitation email, the agent forgot to include the zoom link. I had to call and email back. I received the link the day before my ceremony.

Thanks!! Honestly I dunno if I'm urgent or not.. I applied for urgent processing last Sept. but didn't get any feed back.. Applied Jan 2020 DM was Apr. 26 2021

You applied twice? September 2020 urgent and then again in January 2020 ?
