OPW for my spouse and record visitor for my daughter

HI all,

I am an international student (Quebec), and I am submitting open work permit for my wife. My wife and daughter came Canada in 20th 2017 under visitor visa. Now, I want to ask you as below:

I applied OPW for my spouse 1,5 moths ago but in the document list, CIC did not require us provide bank statement, so do I need to send it?
Now, how can I apply visitor record for my daughter to stay with me before visiting time will expire in January 2018.
