My husband is a Nigerian Brazilian. We were married in Brazil in March of this year. I have been many times to see him in Brazil, and he has never been here, and so, has not met my children in person. We filed the paperwork for him in July, and we would really like an opportunity for him to come and meet my children before we are living together as a family. He is gainfully employed in Brazil, having worked at his job for about a year and a half. No criminal history, he has never overstayed anywhere before. He can show enough funds for travel and rents a place in Brazil. He has no family there, as his family all lives in Nigeria. I realize that the chances of getting a visit visa are slim but what documentation can we include to make it better? Any help would be appreciated, this is very important to us.
Hi, take a look here http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/something-else-that-may-help-with-getting-a-visitor-visa-t47567.0.html
We were successful in getting a visitor visa this way. Not sure it will work for you, specially if you have already a PR application in progress. But its worth trying, but honestly, I believe your chance are slim to none getting a visitor visa while a PR is in progress. But if you have extra money, try.
I am not being negative, just giving you my opinion. We are cheering for you!
