Open Work Permit

Hello all,

I have a quick question and would greatly appreciate the help. My girlfriend and I will soon be submitting our Spousal Sponsorship Application. I also wish to include an Open Work Permit application along with it, however I can't find them OWP Application form.

I feel like I may have read previously that you just have to tick the "Are you submitting an Open Work Permit?" box on the Document Check List and pay the fees. So do I need to fill out a separate OWP form?

If someone could provide me with some clarity on the matter I would be extremely grateful.

As far as I know, OWP has its own forms. There's a few questionnaires you'll have to fill out, but start at the link below and just keep following the links at the end of the questionnaires until you reach the appropriate forms.

I'm not super familiar with OWP since my husband and I didn't need to apply for it, but hopefully some other more experienced members can confirm the above or give you better direction. Hope you find the forms you need.

Thanks for the reply! (on both matters). I think I'm a little closer to finding the OWP forms after following that link, but it's still a bit cryptic. I'll keep searching though, I just cant find the actual section that lets you download the form. As for the form on the other post I had come to that conclusion from the research I had done after posting. Thanks for clarifying though.

Okay I've found it, it's an option on the IMM5710e form. (Just incase someone stumbles across this page looking for the same thing.)
