I applied on Feb 10.

My previous PGWP was already expired on Sep 2020. Hope it doesn’t affect to the processing time..because I heard some people still have valid PGWP got a temporary 2months visa after applying few days later. but I haven’t got anything yet..

For persons who’s status is still valid they are extending it until June while they fully process their application. I think they are prioritizing people who have to restore their status.

Feb 8th. Status is the same, but when looking at eligibility down on that list, it says they are looking if I meet the eligibility requirements.

That’s what I heard from my friend she applied and after 2 days she got temporary work permit for 2 months extended. Maybe you are right.
Nothing changed I am watching CIC two times for everyday lol

Neither yet. Just updates for both. Processing time for most expired permits has been around 21days. If its yet to expire, temporary extension has been granted in as little as 2 days. Just check the prior posts on this thread.

I was told to restore even though I am technically on implied status due to a pending visitor extension application. So I chose to restore.

The restoration fees will be refunded once the visitor application gets approved. I heard they are approving both at the same time. Visitor for 3 months and OWP for 18.

I'm on implied status and expired PGWP last Sept too and I called CIC and they said I can just apply to PGWP under a new policy without any additional form. I'm worried that my application could be rejected.

I am on Implied status too. But I applied for restoration.

I was told by the CIC agent. Now I know people who didn’t go the restoration route. They got approved. I wouldn’t worry.

VR just got approved. OWP not yet. Applied Feb 8th.
