Hi folks,
Needed an input on how best to handle this predicament.
Wife is currently in Canada on visitor visa, with an outland PR application pending, and we planned on applying for the open work permit under the new policy from IRCC.
On the same day we finished doing the medical for an upfront work permit application, we got a medical request for her PR application.
We attempted to call the clinic to see whether they could change the medical purpose, but they said they were not able to.
Is there any way around this or the only option is to do the medical again?

Send a webform to IRCC indicating that your spouse has completed a medical recently (would specify the actual date) for her OWP that will be valid for her spousal sponsorship. No need to repeat her medical. The clinic should not need to send in any further documentation.
