My question is does open work permit holder requires LMO to work for a IT firm?

1. It depends how you got your open work permit.
2. As of 01/10/10 the previous 7 IT occupations that were LMO exempt, now require LMOs.

If your spouse's wp is still valid, then your OWP allows you to work for anyone.
