I've got reference letter from my employer by email.

If I print it, it will be considered as a photocopy. Is non-original, but instead photocopy of reference letter acceptable by Ontario?

Yes it will be considered. All the letters I have sent are just copies of originals. As long as there is stamp, signature (or at least signature) and good contact data (phone and fax or e-mail), you are good to go.

I tried to contact OINP many times but couldn't reach anyone. I believe that they will not request additional documents for the french speakers because most of us have submitted our applications JUNE-JULY-AUG...
I don't know what they are waiting for to issue the nominations or any other movement. Do you think they are waiting for the human stream applications to be all processed so they start with ours? I am at 28 days out of 90 post AOR.
What about all of you guys? Any update?

Maybe yes maybe not. We know that Ontario has quotas for all streams (they have set them up by themselves). If they do not have yet enough French speakers nominated for this year.
So it might be that our stream can start moving in December. And in this case it is no queue skipping. It is just fullfilling quotas in different streams thats all.

And not everybody needs request for additional documents to be nominated.

We may receive additional docs request... as well as not received...

According to other forums, the most common ones are:
- Bank Statement for the past 6 months
- PaySlip for the past 1 year
- Letter of intent to reside in Ontario
- Working experiences...

Let's hope for the best and our time comes quickly

Bank statement is usually because the original documents are almost 1 year old. (which is not the case by most of French stream).
Letter of intent to reside is request of the basic package. but you can slowly collect more info or that you have applied for some work positions (regardless if they had contacted you or not).
PaySlips - when they have doubt about your job proof (this can be alternated with tax forms or bank account history where they can see regular icomes)
Work experience - in case your specialisation is not described clearly or can be put into different NOC.

If you have already met all above, all they can check upon is the amount of the Money you have right now. And that would be usually just before they decide the nomination.

Hello,

I am the CEC candidate with the post-graduate work permit expiring soon. So, I've received a request for additional docs last Friday (submitted package early Oct, received AOR early NOV). I think they are prioritizing CEC candidates. Anyways, I am a bit in a pickle right now. The investigator analyst is requesting for last 6 bank statements. I do not have the minimum funds required in my bank account. From the OINP package, they mention that you can use your current job as a proof of funds. This is what I did. I didn't think that they will be particular about having proof of funds in the bank account for CEC candidates. I am thinking of still providing the bank statements (with very little funds) and having an explanation letter. What do you suggest people?

Thanks a lot

Maybe what they want to see is that you are recieveing steady salary on your bank account.

And thanks for updating us. That means that they are really checking all application through including French speakers. I think that the only reasons most of us were not requested is that we are outland applicants and the application has arrived after all those Human priority applicants.

Congrats Elrud! Good luck for the rest :)

Hi Maleeksha, I got the results today after 2 months of stress in case I did not meet the CLB for writing. Finally I got the good news that I met the CLB for each 4 sections for French as primary language.

that shall come rather fast. just make sure your ee is aligned with the job bank account. Once all is activated you shall get pt letter within few days (a week max). If it does not happen recreate and reactivate your EE account. best luck there.

You can already start preparing your application package. Leave only payments, application form and maybe payment after PT arrival.

For money order, again. I also have the opportunity to send money from the USA. Does anyone know if you can get a money order in Canadian dollars there, Chicago precisely? Thanks for your answer.

Can you please guide me as to how to prepare the application package and where to get the forms?

For proof of funds, I am FSW and my dad will transfer me money as gift. But this will be done after I got confirmation of PT. I assume only a letter from the bank stating that will not suffice. A gift deed is necessary. Right?

Merci encore.

Dear Elrud,

Our brave friend Raj prepared a very, very comprehensive guide regarding the preparation of the application package. It is like the bible of things.
It's detailed up to the kind of staples you're gonna use.

You can find it here:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/oinp-ee-human-capital-priorities-stream-comprehensive-guide-t396543.0.html

Regarding the source of funds dilemma, well here's another one quite useful:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/a-complete-way-to-nail-source-of-fund-dilemma-t349224.0.html

Hoping that these sources will help you on your journey.

N.B.: By the way, although the guide is for the Human Capital Priorities Stream (English Stream), the contents are exactly the same. You just chose "French Skilled Workers Stream" on the application form and put in your TEF/French exam results. The rest is identical in both streams. Just be sure to download the French Stream Application Guide and French Stream Application Form. Well they're almost the same too, but just to be sure.

N.B.2: Here's where you can find the French Stream Application Guide. You can download the Application Form from within the Guide (Section 4 / 4.1)
