Hello,
I'm new to EE, just submitted my profile on November 10th with a score of 460. I selected French as my primary language. It's been 8 days and I still don't have a notification of interest. I see most of you guys received one the same day or within 2 or 3 days. Should I be worried? Did it take more time for anyone?

Hello betty44,
By Direct ITA, i mean that the candidate get an ITA (Invitation To Apply) from IRCC without getting additional point to he's/her's CRS score from a PNP or Job offer.
Look a it like a journey from entering the pool to the PR process. if we make an analogy with a trip using an airline, if you have enough money, you can afford a direct flight (CRS greater than express entry draw minimum cutoff => Direct ITA). However, if you do not have enough money for a direct flight, you make stops with layoffs sometimes up to 13 hours before you reach your destination. in our case, we apply to OINP for provincial nomination before we can start our PR process.
the candidates in our list whom I refer to as having received a direct ITA entered or were about to enter OINP PNP because they did not qualify initially to get ITA, but due to the fact that IRCC lowered the CRS cutoff point , they were able to be given an ITA before completing the nomination process.
if the terminology I used is not adequate, maybe the forum members can suggest a better one.
I hope I Answered your question.

Hi Damocles,
I am a silent follower on this forum for a loong time now, and specially for you almost 5 months or so..
I really appreciate your help and support for others!
FYI I got my AOR last sep 30 - French Speaking Stream - Outland
Since you are a Star Member

I have a question, do you really think that nominations will take 90 days as promissed, and do you have any idea how many French applicants have applied in 2016?
Thank you four ur usual help
hi Jay_jay,
thank you for your vote of confidence! Due to the backlog the 90 days time frame does not hold anymore. some candidate have been waiting or 14 months. look at the case of Lovealways.. But it doesn't mean that everybody will go through that long wait. CEC candidates are processed quickly and it seems that OINP is clearing the backlog. maybe they are waiting for the the new express entry rules or the new quota to expedite the remaining applications. As for the number of applicants in the french stream , I have no idea. the file numbers after the HCPS range from the 5xxx to the 7xxx.
Let's hope for the best then, but if you check other OINP forums, you can realize that most inland/outland applicants who got their AOR in Jul-16 are getting today nominations and additional documents request even Interview calls, so in my opinion we should wait and see if anybody who got his AOR in Aug in this forum will get any call or additional documents request in Nov or even in early Dec. If that happened, we can say that we might get our nominations by end of this year or in early 2017, knowing that most of OINP officers are working overtime, even in weekends to finalize applications as much as they can to reach their quota. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Hi everybody, I received interest from Ontario yesterday and I need your advice concerning Part F of OINP guide (Ties to Ontario), they ask us to List all ties that we have established in Ontario, could you please let me know what we can put there if we don't have any ties mentioned on the list, is it ok to put N/A (please share what you mentioned on your own form).

Just For Info:
- Created EE Profile on 16th May 2016
- Completed Job Bank Registration on 20th May 2016
- Received a Letter of Interest from Ontario on 24th May 2016 (French Speaking Stream)
This is quite a good news for French/English speaking applicants
Salam Superfly,
As Algerian compatriot, I would like to consult you about some specific stuff to our country:
1- Concerning POF, Is enough to send my bank statements in DZD (BEA bank for exampl) and what is the meaning of ''Transit and institution number of the bank''
2- Concerning application fees, how did you proceed to send the 1500 CAD, is it possible to perform this kind of bank transaction in our country?
Its will be great if you can share with me your phone nbr or e-mail, so we can maybe meet and discuss about proceedure while drinking a good coffe.
Thanks in advance

Thanks !!
I have returned from the job fair destination Canada. I have spoken with Ontario officer in person. However news are none:
1. they refused to tell if and when will they reopen for the main stream
2. They refused to comment on their current timing for applicants (how long does it take to go through)
3. they said that due to the numbers 90 days are no more valid
4. They hinted that in the future they want to introduce payment with the bank card (not a bad idea when their own banks are scrapping some of the payments that they stated as options).
So more or less nothing much there that could hint more.

That's disappointing regarding the 90 days though. I would have expected them to day we will be back to 90 days after new year when we have nominated all pending applications.
The officer obviously did not wanna say a thing.
However the whole job fair was concentrated on:
1. Young professionals who have 1 year opened work permit
2. Mobilite Francophone (people with French on CBL 7+)
