I submitted my application for EE on March 23rd 2015 and got 415 pts. I see the OOPNP considers applications submitted only after June1st 2015. Do I have to re-submit my EE profile? Please advise.

For the highest qualification asked for in the form, Should I fill in the highest qualification ( which is Masters) from the foreign university or should I tick others and specify ECA equivalent ( two or more degrees of at least 3 years).

Yes. Withdraw and re-submit to qualify.

Ofcourse. Your Job Bank profile is linked to your EE profile.

My uni actually has service to certify the degree, that's why I'm confused.

Going to take a lot of work to find someone that can certify in my city. Going back to my uni to request the service is no an option either since it's located in other city. I think I'm going to submit original one lol

You might want to check this link. Seems like a certified true copy can be issued by any Canadian citizen who has known you for more than 2 years. Does not necessarily need to be a lawyer, see the link for the list of ppl who can certify for you. You need not submit your original degree now

Call centre agents have this disturbing tendency to be clueless and confident at the same time especially when new programs are launched! (No offence to anyone but this is frankly very irritating)

We've seen such weird responses even during the early days of EE. The best option in such cases is to go by the rule book. And there it states copies. Now when I see copy, I understand it to be NOT original. But that's just my interpretation of English.

I totally agree with what you mentioned. Just wanted to add here that people accepting an applications in person at Opportunities Ontario are not the same people who will answer queries over the phone (call centre agents) and definitely not the same as processing agents who would go through your documentation. As Asivad mentioned here best interpretation is one's own. If original documents are not asked submit certified copies and use sticky notes on the copies stating "Originals can be submitted upon request".

high school < diploma < degree < 2/3 degrees < Masters < PhD ......

Hi,

For the certified true copy , how can we get this ??? I have a Canadian Bachelor degree. I went and ask them but they don't do this. They only provide you another copy which takes more than 3 weeks :'(

Hi All,
I received the PT nomination few days back after recreating my EE profile.

My past company shut down and there's no way to get any letter explaining roles and responsibilities. My query is whether the existing documents (offer letter and salary certificates) should be sufficient.

In one of the other forums, some member had contacted OOPNP and they told him that they need original IELTS. I gave IELTS through Global Village Toronto and they can provide extra originals for $20 each.

Hey Guys,

For those who have got the OOPNP invite, how are you going to get the employment reference letters from previous/current employers on company letter head.

As this has been discussed on several other threads, where getting the official letter for PR purpose is difficult as the comapnies are not willing to provide them.

Any pointers will be appreciated.

I just finished filling up the OOPNP application form and at the end it generates a detailed checklist. If anyone has questions/feedbacks feel free to post a message in the thread.
