No. My working Visa in Dubai expires in June 2022. I was hoping to get Canada PR by then so that I don't have to renew my Dubai visa, which is why the processing time is important for me. My application moved to DIP on December 17 2021. No change since then.
and this DIP is just for nomination. After nomination you will need to get ITA and submit docs. Your pr process hasnt even started yet.
It can take 6-7 months as well. I am sure about your situation sir. But i were you, i would head to canada first and then apply for SOWP.
Thanks for the reply, what I have been searching says that SOWP current processing time is 12 months.

yep thats right.
I would be surprised if you get your PR by dec 2022. PR for outlanders is taking 1.5 years+ time.
Thank you for your reply. Do I reject nomination and wait for FSW? My CRS is 456 only
So it doesn't make sense for applying for SOWP and sitting in Canada without any work. Is it a wise thing to apply for open work permit from home country and wait for approval ? I have really gone short of ideas here as PR process is taking much more longer than I initially thought.

if you don't get a nomination there is no hope for you in fsw. As you are in DIP, you will most certainly get a nomination.

i think you can start working even before it is approved. I am not sure though
