Hey Guys,
I'm new to the OINP and would like to know some information, perhaps you guys know or have seen something regarding this.
I'm currently completing a 3-year advanced diploma and will finish by April 30th, 2018. I will apply to the regular process through the PGWP after I'm done etc etc. I'm lucky and I currently hold a part-time job in the municipal government in Ottawa here in Ontario.Consequently, I have a possibility to secure a full-time opportunity after I'm done with school for 1 year, which will be sufficient to be to get a nomination from Ontario under the stream of "International Students with a Valid Job Offer". However, I don't understand something. I've seen people talk about getting the famous "Notification of Interest".
1. Do I have to get this notification of interest in order to apply for a nomination? if so, how does it work?
2. If I secure the job to start right away I'm done with school, may I just skip the PGWP process and go ahead to apply to the express entry pool with the nomination? (Visa/ Study permit expires Aug. 30, 2018), so I have 4 months given that I get the position so I will only wait for HR to give me the letter signed saying i have a job offer and then apply to OINP (will have other docs ready to go).
3. This may not be for this thread but, does any of you know If I can work full-time after I have finished classes (As of May 1st, 2018) until I get the letter from the school saying I have completed all my program which I will use to apply for the PGWP? For example: I complete my courses/exam/program as of April 30th, 2018. Then I have to wait until the school give me this letter. So then I apply when I get it, but lets say the school take 15 days to process that letter. Can I still work during those 15 days given that I have not applied for the PGWP yet?
Thanks!!!
