I have applied for Ontario PNP under "International Student with Job Offer" stream. I received Employer Pre-screen application and my Nominee Application (2nd stage) was filed on 24th April 2014. I got my file number and also a request for additional documents. The additional documents were submitted on 20th June. Now my 1 year work Permit expires in mid-August. That makes the situation a bit tight for me. I am looking for ways to be in Status and be able to continue to work. Please advice on the steps I should take if my WP expires before receiving my Ontario PNP certificate. Has anybody been in the same situation? Should I go on and apply for WP extension without PNP Certificate?

they usually do ask for additional documents (to justify their longer processing time in my view). the time to get your nomination varies, form me it took another 3 months since they asked for additional documents.
you will need patience, they don't care about your wasted time or opportunities unfortunately.
I made Federal PR application on 21st May (received on 23rd May) after receiving PNP certificate.
However I have not heard anything from them at all. Is there any way I can know what is the status of my application?

I applied for federal part of PNP Ontario under masters- without job offer stream. I received Medical request on first week of may and CIC got medical results on 15th May, since then there is no updates. Is anybody applied in the same time? any updates?
How long it usually takes after CIC receives Medical results?
Do you know how quickly they process the applications now? Feels like that applicants usually received their file number 2 months after their application was received.
I also share the same timeline with you. CIC received my medical test on the beginning of May. Still no updates.

Many Ontario PNPs only got PR after a year. If you just wait for 2 or 3 months, you still have to wait for a long time. Many Ontario PNPs applying July 2013 still don't get their PR yet until now.
I'm not talking about "getting a PR". I'm talking about the AOR - which is the Acknowledgement of Receipt. Most people on this forum seem to have gotten the AOR letter 4 weeks after their PR application. It has been 8 weeks for me.
My file number and request for additional documents got delayed as I didn't receive the email from OPNP. Only when I called to enquire about file no, they mentioned that an email was sent around 2 months back and now they sent it again. The deadline for the document submission has expired. I plan to submit the requested documents at the earliest. What implications will it have on the processing of my application for nomination? Any inputs please.
Hi! Anyone in the same shoes? My prospective employer applied in October 2013. No feedback since then only confirmation that the application was received. So much about the original 90 days target proceedings time!
