Canadian economy is very stable and growing. However, in comparison to US economy, its small in terms of GDP.
Regarding jobs - there are good number of jobs in Canada but what matters is the sector in which you are looking for and whether your skill sets and experience matches their requirements. For eg. There are many opportunities in Oil and Gas sector in Alberta, if you have any experience in it, then you stand with much better opportunity than others.
One who embraces "Dignity of Labor", he/she will never has his/her pockets and stomach empty.
On a ligther note - If you are concerned about the traffic and don't start your journey, you will never reach your destination.
Good Luck!!!

"Your file is in line for a final review by an immigration officer. We cannot estimate when a decision will be made, but we assure you that you will hear from us once the officer reviews your file.

They are taking more than 15 working days. All of the buffalo applicants took atleast 2 months to get back their passports after mailing them to the buffalo office.I have not heard of anyone getting it in 15 days recently.Just check both the google sheet and NY,Buffalo tracking previous posts....
Also there seems to be slowdown again from the Buffalo Office and it is strange the other offices are also quiet..
I am getting jittery as medicals expire in August/Sep for most of the May applicants and 2 months turn around time will hit it very close to July borderline.....
