HI VSThakkar you time line shows that you change your adress before AOR/MED request.So that means when you change your address you dont have your file number,I am in same situation.I still not get file number and need to change mailing address immidietly,Pls. let me know how to do it..I will apreaciate your help.

I got a huge problem here..... My stupid Lawyer Mail my Med request by the first class mail. And the mail has been out for one week. I still haven't got it. What should I do? I really want to f***ck this cheap lawyer now....

Hi volog really your lawer is stupid animal...But don't be diappoint and lose hope...same thing happend with me last year my employer send my W-2 by first clas mail and I received it after 13 days..but try to registred complaint to USPS help line....I am not sure usps will help any mail without traking number..but you can atlist try. WISH U ALL THE BEST....

Hey guys! Some updates from me

So after getting totally pissed off with no news from CIC, I decided to forget about the process and booked a vacation on Easter weekend. I got home and opened the mail box and what do you know, a mail from Buffalo requesting additional documents!! I used to live in Europe and now they asked for all the Police certificate from there! I was there when I was 13-18 so now I wish I left before turning 18 LOL

I have already submitted one that was issued to me by my home country's embassy but that's not good enough. It says got medical results, initial assessment done blah blah no interviews and submit those documents within 90 days. I have absolutely no idea how to get those police certificates and I checked the consular website and it may take 60 days

So here I go, another hurdle, I really hope I don't have to fly to the capital for this and take another day off work

May applicants (lettuce, chigirl? etc.), get ready for documents, hopefully for you it's PPR!

Anyone knows how long it takes from the time you submit documents till they request PPR?

Thanks for the update. Can you please tell us if you're file was transferred?

Also, check with the respective embassy/consulate, and get a letter from them if they cannot give you a verification within the stipulated 60 days. I have known of instances where the verification has been waived. Good Luck.

On the other hand, I do not know what to make of this. Should we assume that they are atleast looking at our files?

It has been now 3-4 weeks since I have sent the Passports but no activity yet.
