Online fee payment : Not going thru (Pls help)

I am trying to pay the fee for spouse sponsorship online by credit card. I fill all the details as required & when I submit error message occurs that "Transaction Declined". Have tried many no. of times since yesterday but without fail. What should I do?

Also I have applied for an online fee payment form i.e IMM5401 for paying fee at a financial institution. Do anybody has any idea how much time it will take to get delivered at my address.

Pls advise as i dont want to waster any more time in submitting the application.

I'm just guessing but they might not take online payments on the weekend. Just a thought.

Payment declined means your bank isn't releasing the authorization to Immigration to charge your credit card. You need to call your bank. If you usually don't make large purchases online, they're trying to make sure it's really you. Call them and ask why they're declining it.

Called up bank but they said it is not the problem at their end as no transaction has been declined by them.

Also i have read in some posts that it asks for which place the payment is going and you have to select "Missisaga" but this option is not showing anywhere when i go for online payment for spouse sponsorship fee payment.

Pls seniors help. I am loosing time on this.

Called up bank but they said it is not the problem at their end as no transaction has been declined by them.

1. Select paying at an office in Canada: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp
2. On the 3rd Screen select Immigration
3. Next Family class spouse.........
4. Select the items you are going to pay.
5. Select pay
6. Register if you haven't previously
7. Select Mississauga as the office.
