Online citizenship test completed, waiting for next steps

I had called the IRCC help line and one of the experienced agent mentioned to me. So I mailed pretty much everyone I can think of, IRCC citizenship email ID's , to my local MP and also to the Immigration minister. A week later the issue was resolved.

they should let us take oath ourselves and then send them a video instead of waiting months to get a slot

Well, AFAIK the law requires, the oath is to be recited in front of an "authorized official" which is almost always a citizenship judge. So, they can't break the law and let people recite oath on their own.

Unfortunately, unless you have a valid reason for Urgent processing, I don't think this can be expedited. I'm sorry, I hope you get scheduled for oath soon. Wish you the best.

I had my citizenship test in April this year and they asked me for my passport copies and sask driving license. I have not heard from CIC since then, my application status is In Progress, and all sections say complete except for Ceremony. I was never invited for an interview, is that normal?

Actually, E-tracker was updated to IN progress with an Invitation for Oath taking Ceremony note and on the ECAS said Decision made. On the 3rd day he received an email from CIC with an invite letter for OTC…

However, I have not received any confirmation email so far regarding the time of the Oath or the zoom call information. Can anyone tell me how far in advance IRCC sends this official invite? I even contacted them and told them the situation. The contact centre agent said she notified the proper department but I haven't heard back yet (it's been about 2 weeks). Please let me know if you have gone through something similar. Thanks!

Normally people receive an official e-mail with instructions from 10 to 1 days prior to the ceremony date.
