I am sorry to hear that. My advice for your retake - sometime in the sign-in process there is going to appear a system pop-up window saying "Enable the webcam?". Press "Allow", and a green light next to your laptop camera should light up. You should see yourself in the upper right corner of the screen during the test.
I got a call from IRCC officer to schedule test on Ms Teams. They even called again 5mins before the test appointment to ask if I will be joining the Ms Teams to attend the meeting for my test. I’m in Toronto and it was a regular 416 area code. I was also given email their contact information for emergency if disconnected. I have seen in other forums others have started are receiving calls over the past week. I highly suggest to others do not abuse these newly given contact information for your officer as this new path may be closed to others in the future.
@Junie Hamstead wow that's awesome. They are really picking up pace and trying newer video methods. Our done in Feb 2021 wasn't on TEAMS and no calls from IRCC. So a lot of changes, from the pilot program. Nice and exciting.
@gooner23 unfortunately yes, you have to be present for the test and oath.
The fact it's being done remote is because, of Covid. It's not replacing the actual requirement of being present physically for the oath of everything was normal. No chance in rules. Only a change in the mode of doing the test and oath. All other requirements continue to be the same

Yup, it won’t change from whatever your last line was. You will see the status change though. At some point it’ll change to “Decision Made.” After that, it’ll finally update to “Complete” when you do your oath and they receive your oath form.

Congratulations. If no technical fault and all good,
1st step: ECAS change from In Process to DECISION MADE
2nd step: Oath Invitation
3rd step: Oath ceremony
4th step: ECAS change to complete
5th step: Receive certificate
Then apply passports from mail for normal processing OR passports in person if you need urgent.

How do you not know if your application is online or not? I'm pretty sure you can't use online if using a representative, also they'd should be able to tell you.

I applied online on Dec 10 2020. My question is if there is different process for online application and paper application . The reason why I can not trace my stats on ECAS is online application, right?
