online application timeline for June 2018 applicant from india

Hi . I received email "visa acknowledgement letter" for my sister. Letter says application is in process.
I applied online on June 28. For an event to attend on July 15.
What does this letter mean??

waiting for any response. It just say we will update you once we will start reviewing your eligibility. I have my mom dad to arrive in Canada on 25th Aug. I have shown enough funds for them to travel here as well as more then enough funds they have in India.

india. I’m actually on a study permit but my visa has expired and I have applied for a pgwp. I applied for a TRV after I came back to India.

they have never travel abroad. My dad got retired from ONGC last year,

i m just worried bcoz when i applied for my wife in 2016. they took same amount of time and declined after about 30 days. I have possession date of my new house on aug 28 n i want my parents here.

I dont know how do they work on applications,
