Hi,

I'm applying for a PR through CEC application, but I just noticed that when I was doing my co-op program during University I had one month working without valid Co-op work permit (I was on a study permit).

I requested to renew my coop work permit before it was expired, but the new permit came a month after the old permit was expired.
Does that mean I was on Implied status?
Would this create some issue or cause my application to be rejected?
Should I explain what happened in a cover letter - if so, how should I prove that I submitted the application before my permit was expired? or should I play dumb and let them figure it out?

Thanks in advance,

Dhana

I belive you would have been on implied status. Jes_ON?

I wouldn't worry about it. The co-op experience doesn't count and won't be evaluated.
