I'm on outland spouse app and visiting on a trv in Canada. Since i can't work, was contemplating on studying an 11 month course while waiting on our papers. So anytime can i apply for a study permit? What will happen to my trv if ever? Or should i look for a school first and get admission before applying for study permit? Thanks hope someone has the same scenario

1. As you are an " out of Canada" spousal, you have the same requirements as anyone who wishes to study in Canada. You need acceptance at a school, proof of sufficient funds to pay the fees, and sufficient funds for living expenses. You will have to apply outside Canada. See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study.asp
2. A TRV (Temporary Residence Visa) allows a person who is not visitor visa exempt to come to Canada, a visitor permit, allows them to remain in Canada. Not the same thing.
