i have both old indian passport and old canadian passport after renewal they punch hole and handover to me. It has become stack of passports. i have all my old passport since 1990. is it legal to dispose old expired passport. will it be in any future incident be required or can i just bury it somewhere in ground in a safe.

Good question.
Expired passport are not valid anymore and it's up to you if you want them for future reference.
I would suggest to keep them instead of burying

Keep them, you may need them to identify times out of country when you apply for CPP etc.
