IMPORTANT NOTICE

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has fulfilled its 2016 federal nomination allocation.

The OINP will continue to process applications. Any additional nominations will go towards Ontario’s 2017 allocation.

The OINP will continue to introduce online application systems in 2017 to make it easier for clients to apply and improve processing times.

Please monitor this OINP update webpage for news, announcements and new developments in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.

It is very vague and difficult to understand but it means nominations of 2016 quota is full and only after new quota is announced they will release nominations but they will process the applications and keep them ready

They accommodated and completed nominations for 2016 in January 11 the draw we will see new quota soon.there may not be a draw for 21 days now and meanwhile new quota will be alloted

No. We have to wait for new quota to be allotted to OINP and the revisions they come out with. Mostly it will be online application now.

IRCC also must be exhausted with 2016 quota. They might pause new draws and meanwhile allot new quota to oinp and other provinces.wait and watch game

Hope so because there are so many waiting for nomination since a year and this break might be frustrating

2017 quota will be announced, OINP will implement online application system which will bring down the NoM time.

Good news: OINP will process all the applications received.
