I have a question regarding the relatives part. I have an uncle residing in B.C. I do not plan to settle as I know there is better opportunity in Ontario. Can I still claim points for my relatives and just state in the letter of intent that I wanted to reside in Ontario even if I have a relative residing in another province. Will there be a problem for me? Thanks

Yes you can claim 5 points for adaptability for FSW criteria for your uncle relationship. Do not mention this relation in Intent to reside tab. You can add this proof of relationship in family documents tab.

Great. Thanks for the info. I do intend to reside in Ontario if given the chance so I guess I only have to tell them my reasons for residing in Ontario.

Oh no! Am I in trouble for putting in our relatives in other states in the Statement of intent document? But we did also say that Ontario is where we wanted to reside and my husband has 2 aunts there. My 2 uncles are in Manitoba and my husband has 2 cousins in Alberta.

Don't worry. If they will have any doubt they will ask you in procedural fairness request. Main thing is your intent to reside which u clearly mentioned.

It has been advised by OINP that we should create/recreate EE profile so that it would be easy for OINP to search for candidates. Below paragraph is taken from OINP portal
Prospective applicants are encouraged to create a new profile in the Express Entry (EE) system to make it easier for Ontario to identify their profile during its search of the federal government’s Express Entry pool. Please note that if you create a new EE profile, you must delete your old profile.
I suggest you to recreate your profile. I did that and received NOI same day.
I recreated a new profile and then received Letter of Interest in my EE Profile. Not sure it's same as Notification of Interest. Subject line says "Express Entry - Provincial/Territorial Interest Letter"
Subject Matter:-
"The Government of Ontario is interested in considering you for nomination under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) through Express Entry.
If you want Ontario to consider you for nomination under its PNP you must contact Ontario directly after receiving this letter. Note that this letter of interest is not a guarantee that you will be nominated by Ontario. You will first have to satisfy Ontario that you meet the requirements of their program."
Is this same as Notification of Interest under OINP? More over I'm not it's a direct message in my profile, not showing me option to download this letter.

Thank You so much for your quick response. But, there is no option to download that letter, Can I take the screen shot and then attach it in OINP profile?

One person in other forum told a very good way getting the NOI letter and I did the same.
Open your CIC EE profile in chrome. Go to the Ontario PNP Message then in settings there is a print option click on that and it will give you a chance to save as PDF. Do that and attach the PDF. It will show your details the message with accuracy.
