You will be nominated definitely. Don't worry most of the applications will be processed by the end of September. It is my prediction that your application is already finalised and will come anytime soon. I wish you will get yours today. Good Luck.

My situation is a bit like mcassim87. My application is in DIP since August, 10 . It's been almost 65 days now since I have submitted it. However a decision has not been made yet.
I called them today and they say everything is fine with my application as there was no request for additional document .... they say all application have to be reviewed at their final stage by a senior officer who approves or not.
What do you think ?
On the other hand could be possible that they received more NOIs then the quota they were given by CIC, and if so let's imagine the remaining nominations are given and there will be still other application in the backlog. In your opinion how would they manage the situation?
I hope they will not just reject the rest of applications without at least a refund

In DIP a final decision is made by the senior officer and then your file is forwarded for Nomination and you are grouped with others. After DIP it can take few days for Nominations or sometimes it takes 45 days. Taking this into account you should receive your nomination by the end of next week.

This year OINP have developed a system that will automatically stop new registrations once the CAP is reached. The existing NOI's will expire on their time while applicants already applied will get Nominated. If still let's say 5 people have submitted files while Nominations Quota is finished, they will still process these 5 applications and decide if they need to nominate. If they Nominate them then they will defer their nominations to next year, so once the next year applications will open these 5 candidates will be Nominated First.

Since we have the same name, my answer is YES!

Neither is followed. I have already given a detailed analysis on this in past and the conclusion is that priority is given to ICT applicants while other NOC applicants face delays in getting Nominations.

For next year's quota, do you think they will still target ICT?

I am done with 44 days in DIP. should i be worried now?

It is my own understanding that they will process applications by the end of this month. So, just write them an email to remind and wait few more days to get Nomination. I am predicting a draw this Wednesday and this may also trigger more batches of Nomination from early Monday till late Wednesday.

But it does not mean that they received 5012 applications. Why would they issue new NOI's if there are hundreds of applicants waiting anxiously to submit their existing NOI's?

No new HCP nominations this year as I predicted a few weeks ago.
