They check all emails, don't believe in everything written on forums. However, what they really dont do, they don't acknowledge each received additional docs request email, which is a bad thing. It is something which would take them 1 min per email to respond back, in addition to saved time and resources, that they now spend on responding to calls and emails from applicants regarding to non received acknowledgement emails.
i got the assesment email on Nov 21st..additional docs requested Nov.14..sent on email Nov.16..funny thing is i am a Dec 30th applicant with AOR june 28th..who is your officer? I am guessing same as mine AW..hope we get any news soon :-X
Can somebody please tell me, when we send documents to any provincial body like Ontario or Saskatchewan, do we send them all the original documents or scanned/copies of the originals?
Also, at which point exactly do we have to show our proof of funds?

For OINP they ask for copies and a true certified copy of your degree. Not sure about the others.
PoF you have to provide at the beginning and if they take longer than six months to process your application they'll usually ask again.

Thanks man! Just one more confusion I have I couldn't find the answer of if you or anyone else could reply this one as well!
Let's say I sent the documents today but I don't have 12K CAD (that's probably the amount for one person) in my account right now but probably in the next 3-4 months I will have it.
Is it necessary to have the required amount before you apply for EE or PNP or a person can have later, lets say at the time of receiving ITA?
