well if you havent heard anything, it means its still in assessment phase... meaning file is lying someone on the desk collecting dust lol
if you recd AOR, the initiails of the officer are usually in the subject line, or in the pdf... but i have seen several cases where its not included so dont be alarmed if you dont see anything...
People who got additional docs request and have blood relations in Ontario.. Did you also send letter of deceleration(stating i know this person he/she is my brother/sister etc ) ?
Do these documents need to signed by person who states in Canada.

You need to send proof of relation. Birth certificate/passport which shows common parents along with their PR copy. Also you need to their proof of residence in Ontario.

I would request you to send copies of birth certificate showing your relationship with that person.
You could have stated that in your letter on intent also, showing clearly how you are related to that person.
If that person has his PR, send a copy of the PR also. (it may help you)
In addition, I also sent copies of my sister's citizenship document, driving licence and her mortgage papers.

Hey Thanks
Just rechecked with the AOR. In the Subject it is mentioned just after the case number in the (). My officer mentioned is (T-DP). So hope he must be assigned for my case.
And just to inform I have got additional document request....so was confirming that can we know after that at what stage my document processing is at?
Any way fingers cross and yes waiting to see what goes next.....All the best to all....
I think they will start assessing your file within 3 months since AOR date. If your AOR is in Aug, then you may get additional doc request by the end of Nov. Just a few days to wait.
I sent my OINP application they received it on March 1, 2016 and I received AOR on Aug 19, 2016, mostly people are getting additional docs requests I didn't get any yet not sure they are working on my file or not. On the otherhand I might not get that request. Don't know what's going on.

No one really knows how the candidates are being selected for additional docs, just bear in mind that there have been quite a few nominations without additional docs requested so I wouldn't worry about this... If it gets to a point where March people are getting NoMs and you still have nothing, not even a docs request, then consider contacting OINP.
