Dear how much time does it take to get the old DD back?

What all issues have been encountered with the old DD? Is there anyone who hasn't got it back even after months?
I enquired with ICICI today and they said until you have original in hand u cant get it cancelled or refunded.

It takes 15 days after you confirm your address.

I suggest send them a new DD ( This will cost you exchange rates) and after you get your old DD back you can get refund. you will have to invest for one month again and incur a loss of exchange rate too + bank charges

They expect new DD withing 30 days. So no other alternative.

OINP UPDATES 23 rd AUGUST

OINP has launched online processing system for entrepreneur stream and it will be followed by all streams . Good news for us they will clear all manual files and give us nominations as soon as possible !!!!

No they have crossed 5800. And they always give some extra like 10 percent to cover up all the return and rejected files. so I dont think anyone will be chopped off. just think positive. your words may depress many.

5500 + 10 percent PT NOI they issue so its all within the limit.

yes 5500 is the nomination number after deducting all below

3 % is the return/rejcted files
5% is those who get other province nomination and withdraw
3% who get Direct ITA before nominatiion

so upto 5500+550= 6050 file numbers it is all withing the quota

And you will see that they will end with files above 6000.

so they assign file No. once received before AOR.

Congrats to all those who received their AOR. I have no updates so far. May be they send it to the email address as per the form and I had my agent's so they will be receiving it which will be now tomorrow only for me to know.

I will update the list later once we have more AOR's
