I have some questions for you guys-
As I had applied PGWP extension within Canada and for that I submitted Biometrics on sep 13, 2023 and that Biometrics number they have updated In my current PR application, although I have submitted the separate one for PR application on DEC 11, 2023. So, Can they use my background check results and criminality results from PGWP extension application to process quickly my PR application? As my work permit got approved for 18 months extension on Dec 22, 2023 and on that day they also updated Biometrics on Biometrics section of PR application.

That's not how background checks are done. They'll conduct a background check again for PR application, the detail in which they go can differ. For most of us, background check doesn't really take a long time, it is just that applications go from criminality pass and are stuck at security not started(and similar other combinations).
You will once again go through background check when you(and me) will apply for citizenship.
About what stage you are in - it is pretty clear, you are in background check in progress.

Eligibility is different from background check. Criminality, security, etc is a part of background check.

So howlong it can take for background check as per your knowledge?

Very hard for anyone to say how much time it will take. Unless you are sent for comprehensive security screening, background check in itself can be done within days or weeks. But as I wrote earlier, the delay can happen because of the application waiting to move between sub stages of background check(e.g. criminality to security): https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...threads/october-aor-2023.824558/post-10717604
