Got my PPR 45 mins later!!! About to send off my passport.

Hey guys,

I submitted my complete application on October 31st, 2017. I received an additional document request on November 23rd and i provided the documents immediately. Its April now and no updates on my application ...does it take this long? 5 months since i applied...

I think you should email them cpc-ctd-ottawa@cic.gc.ca, as to where your file is. There is no update on my file since Oct 18 whenever I check online. But, I will get my passports back tomorrow with CoPR.

Request was approved to send passports to NYC consulate, but they said I still have the option mail it to Ottawa. They are pretty flexible.

Where did you send your passports for COPR? How long did it take get passports back? What is the validity?

I am stuck as well. emailed them and got replied waiting for Visa officer's approval. Aor october 22 CEC inland. how about you?

My understanding is we have to wait for 6 months before asking for a status update, otherwise they don't reply before that? Should i bother sending an email at 5 months?
