So funny, I just checked again now just after posting this and they have updated "Test Completed"
When did you give the test?
MBSK office is the worse of all. It seems like they are out of staffs. They are super slow and you wait till eternity for update. Most of the applicant I read their updates, we applied the same day. Some have gotten Ceremony day and I am still here waiting for Test to be updated for over a week now.
The Vancouver office is the worst. It’s been three weeks, and my test results still haven’t been updated. I’m not alone in this; several others are experiencing the same issue.
No, some time just an officer working on the application and the update take time, no one knows what’s the process exactly, I have my test done since 19th Dec and no fingerprint or BG so far, let hope everything will be done soon.
I don't even know what office is processing mine yet. I applied from Calgary. I keep being tempted to do GCMS.

I am also from Calgary, I was in the same situation as yourself. Let me provide you my timeline to help you a bit -
AOR : Oct 28 2024
Tracker setup : Nov 01 2024
GU 1st : Dec 19 2024
GU 2nd : Dec 28 2024
Test Invite : Jan 02 2025 from Calgary office
Test Completed : Jan 06 2025
Test marked completed on tracker : Jan 10 2025
Everything else in progress.
So these GU does mean something is coming your way. I did some search on Calgary office and they have different sequence and timelines when compared with other offices. So it’s almost like more than 2 months after AOR for test invite and background sometimes seems to be after the test related updates (unless they require fingerprint or application is in enhanced security screening).
Hope this helps! Good luck. This week or next week you should expect some updates if you are also assigned to Calgary office.
Hey guys,
How do you know the office processing your application? I read somewhere that it's in the email address of the test invitation. Mine is DN SCR Citizenship e-Apps / Demandes en ligne Citoyenneté SCR RN (IRCC). What does this mean?
Here's my timeline:
Application submitted: 12 October 2024
AOR: 24 October 2024
Tracker created: 26 October 2024
Test Invite Email: 9 December 2024
Citizenship Test: 20 December 2024
Citizenship test complete: 24 December 2024
Everything else is in progress. I noticed that almost everyone gets the Background completed before the test. In my case it's not, which I'm nervous about. Anyone in this boat as well?

It appears to be the Scarborough office.
Based on JaxT reply (next one), it looks like it's Scarborough

Thank you very much. So, is the Calgary office known for being very slow now? They used to be known for being fast, like 1.5 years ago.
hi they will ask you for finger prints
Do all applicants get requested to submit fingerprints. If not, any idea why they choose certain ones?
