@Hyper1013 asking for a friend, if she is seeing final decision as today in gckey. What are the chances of approval? She doesnt have tracker access because of consultant? Please advice. Thanks!

If biometrics have been completed, your friend should be able to access the tracker even if they have a consultant. Enter the consultant’s email ID, and they will receive an access code that your friend can use to register the tracker.

He wont give access code. If we can see FD in gc key does that mean approval?

Yes, most likely that’s an approval. In case of rejection, you might have got a letter by now.
But I’m shocked that your lawyer wouldn’t give you access code. That sounds so unprofessional.
Do you owe him some money or something? Even then, I find this very unprofessional.

She paid all in advance. The decision was made on Jan 31st. Because its weekend so there is no letter or any further updates.

You can still open tracker account regardless. Usually, FDs are followed by P1. May take a week or two receive it.

I'm not too sure about that. When I tried opening my tracker, the access code was delivered to my lawyer's email.
I had to call him and ask to get access.

I called in today and they told me the status is RECOMMENDED PASSED. Could someone help me understand this? Is the application passed and will I get P1 or are there chances of rejection still?

Having a recommended pass is usually a good sign. It's just awaiting final confirmation by the visa officer. As long as you're cleared from your background check, you'll receive P1 soon! Once the visa officer finalizes your eligibility, it'll initiate the last step of your background check (security screening).
