It's random, but don't worry about it if you are not in a rush. Even if they schedule you before March 16, just email them that you are travelling and they'll schedule you again.

I’ve heard that you need to give them a really good reason why they need to reschedule the oath for you. So saying “just traveling” might be not good enough

I'm sure I'm currently abroad is a good reason. If you search the forum, you'll see people that literally missed their oath email for no reason, and got rescheduled.

A close friend of mine was travelling abroad when she got her oath invite. She told them she's not in Canada and they asked her to inform them when she comes back so they can reschedule her. Don't worry.

same here.. Montreal office, test completed December 19th, no update on LPP since then. I get a bit jealous when I see people seeing progress in a few days after completing the test .

I too plan to postpone if I receive my oath. I am travelling to India in March and I have already booked my tickets. Rather than taking up the stress of getting my documents ready before my travel, I think postponing it is a better choice.

I applied in October, got AOR in Nov 3rd week and nothing has moved after that. Not even the test invite. Is there any one like me in the universe? And people are telling me you can't do anything, just wait.
