Usually online interview not scheduled. May be scheduled if they saw your eye movements during the test to drift down on the table (that may be checking notes or etc.), so may be they want to talk about that, and later on they thought that it is not required. However, can't say anything with surety. However, now it is cancelled, so no need to worry.
My application tracker updated for citizenship test on 24th of November. I received an email for citizenship test on 29th of November schedule for my test from 4th of December to 25th of December. I passed my test on 4th of December 20/20. I checked my tracker for progress of my test but find out that there were two different tests were scheduled. First one was scheduled from 4th of December till 25th and the second one was scheduled from 4th of December till 2nd January 2024. So I called ircc and the agent mentioned that my first invitation has been canceled due to administrative error and I should take my citizenship test again which was scheduled for 4th of December to 2nd January 2024. But I did not received any email containing the test link for 2nd test. Any advice please should I take the test again through tracker link?

I had the same issue , instead of calling them I emailed them and they said I don’t need to write the test again my test results are still valid they said it was a technical error on their behalf. I would suggest sending them an email on the email address provided on that email before writing test again. I will trying and copy and paste my conversation with them maybe it will help. I just got the confirmation today that test was completed.

Would you say it is a bad idea to attempt to attend meeting using the invitation link now that it is cancelled? I saw some reddit posts where people claimed that they were able to speak with agents even after their interviews were cancelled and I was thinking maybe this could be a good chance to gauge application status etc.
