Oh you are way ahead than my case. My LPP has been in progress for 7 weeks now

My result was received on Jan 18th, still I am waiting for BG completion

So, we both are in the same situation. I was looking at spreadsheet tracker for Nov 2023 applicants. It looks that applicants who got their fingerprints received by January 7th, had their BG completed on January 8th. But, the fingerprints received by IRCC after January 8th for many applicants, BG is still in progress.

I just got the background verification update today. I submitted fingerprints just over 3 weeks ago.

Hi all,

I submitted on October 18th and took the test on December 2nd. My background in still in progress and I didn’t receive any fingerprints request. Yesterday my language and physical presence have been completed.

is this normal that my background and prohibition still in progress?

You have to write the reason why you cannot attend and prove of it. That’s it

6-8 weeks have to wait after lpp completed

Today my application was marked as Complete. I’ll be applying for a passport on Monday.

You have to write the reason why you cannot attend and prove of it. That’s it

Are they rescheduling based on the date you provided or do you have to send them proof that you are back in Canada?
