Hi everyone,

I received the 2 invitations to Complete the Online Citizenship Test on February 2 and 3, 2023. I took the exam the other day and passed. I am reviewing both emails and I just noticed that the 1st email says: "You are invited to further the processing of your citizenship application by attending a video session on Microsoft Teams." However, the attachment is the Invitation to Complete the Online Test and nothing about the video session.

I have sent an email to IRCC but no response yet. Thanks!

I got the same thing. One email with “video session” and the other was to complete the test. I assumed it was just an error. Passed the test and it has been marked completed on the tracker.

Thanks! I took it on Feb 6, marked complete on Feb 10 and showed up on tracker Feb 14

I read the text and took lots of practice exams available online. I was the same, so nervous but I passed. so will you! YOU GOT THIS! I

Hello, I submitted my application in October and wrote my test last week. But my background check is still in process. Am I the only one in this group whose background check has not yet completed. From the excel spreadsheet seems like majority had their background check completed. Please let me know why mine is taking longer and any other thoughts you want to share. Thanks.

A few things that it could be:
- Sometimes they just send the test and let the BG complete after
- Other times, likely to get a FP request if that is taking long and you've already gone through the test.

I have to say that I was nervous for no reason. The test was extremely easy.

For those that are looking to take the test, I would recommend the following-

1. Read Discover Canada once
2. Take these practice tests-

   • http://www.thecanadiantest.com/citizenship-test/1 [same format as citizenship test]
