So, here is the thing... we applied in Oct for a family of 3...me, my wife and one minor son... we got AOR in Nov...now on 02/11 and 02/14, I got two GU for my UCI whereas for my wife, there was one GU on 02/11 and one real update on 02/14 that her BG check is completed...since then it has been only 2 days so I know it is too early...but is it common to have BG check updates at different dates for different members of the family even though we applied together as a family?

Note: in case of minor son, there is no update since Dec 16, 2022.

Are there any folks who are still waiting to hear anything since after being able to log in? I have no ghost updates or nothing since DEC 16- first time I was able to log in..... All four things are in progress..... I am a little worried mine will be stuck for a long time - Online Application

Same situation. Another GU on Jan 20, 2023 but nothing since. It is still early (<6 months) I guess I could wait a bit more.

Just received email invite as well as App tracker update.
Test scheduled between Feb 20 to Mar 12.

Hi... When we apply via paper based application for the family, is it possible to see background check completed for one family member while for other, it can take a few days more?

Not just few days more, it could even be few months, my BG completed in Dec but spouse is still waiting.

Just took citizenship test and got 19/20 in 2 minutes max, lol. It was the easiest questions they could find.

I didn't get any confirmation email and all. Only the confirmation popped up on the screen saying 19/20.
Are we supposed to receive a confirmation or anything?

Not unless you selected to have the results emailed. They’re unofficial anyway until they review. You’ll get an update on the tracker

I am yet to hear any feedback and no GU. Application last updated date shows December 16.

So, in your case, when your BG got completed, did your spouse receive Ghost Update on the same date in their tracker without any new meaningful progress?

Congrats. You did not receive any confirmation between your test and the update on the portal, right?
